Apprentice Journal – Week 11: Bridal Party Styling, Color, and Guest Services

Last week, I had the opportunity to be part of a bridal party’s big day! It was such a valuable experience to put my training and skill building to work in a real event setting. I helped prep hair for updos and even completed a few myself, which was both exciting and rewarding. It was great to see how everything I’ve been practicing—curling, pinning, and styling—came together for such a special occasion.

In addition to bridal styling, I continued to work on more all-over colors with guests, further strengthening my application and finishing techniques. I also performed several manicures and pedicures, helping guests relax and leave feeling polished from head to toe.

Each week gives me more confidence, and I love being able to see all the progress I’ve made so far.
