07 Aug Apprentice Journal – Week 6: Perfecting Curls & Color

This week I had the chance to work on even more color services—this time doing all-over color on live models. It’s really helping me understand the importance of sectioning, saturation, and timing. I also continued working with different types of curl sets, including Velcro roller sets, traditional curl sets, and more perm wrapping. I practiced using Marcel curling irons to create long-lasting curls that hold their shape and volume for an entire day or special event. I’m learning how prep work makes all the difference when it comes to style longevity!
